If you want to change the domain of your website but keep all the links the same then you will need to do a 301 redirect. This redirect tells everyone that the content has moved permanently to another locate/domain.

I would highly suggest you keep the urls the same and redirect url to url. By this I mean if you have mydomain.com/page_name.html then you should redirect that to mynewdomain.com/page_name.html.

You can also tell google that you have changed your domain name if you use their webmaster tools. Once you are in there and you verified your site you can go under Site configuration -> Change of address and it will then note that your domain has changed and it should help keep your listings in the engine where they currently are.
