Q: Can I replace a 10.8 volt notebook battery with a 11.1 volt battery?

    Only use laptop batteries made specifically for your model of laptop. These will either be sold by the laptop manufacturer or you can try to save money and buy from a third party.

    Using a battery with different voltage runs the risk of permanent damage to your laptop computer.

    It is a third party battery but it also says it is specifically designed for my model laptop. The problem is that my current battery is 10.8 and the other is 11.1

    Personally, I wouldn’t use the battery.
