Q: What is the terminal command for checking the mac address of a USB wireless card in Mac OS X Snow Leopard?

    I am not sure what the command line method is for getting it but if you go to System Preferences -> Network. You will then need to select your Airport card or wireless card in the pane on the left and then select Advanced… at the bottom.

    This will open a new window and you will need to select the Airport tab or whatever your wireless USB card is called. At the bottom of this tab you will see AirPort ID and to the right of that you will see the MAC address. If you mouse over the number it gives you a little bit of information about what the MAC address is.
