How come when I connect to the Internet my web browser shows me a bogus page instead of my home page?
by ralphmouth on June 3, 2010Q: I am having problems with computer running Windows XP and IE7. Lost themes, now they are back.
Now at boot up I get , Intel Audio Studio Controller no support board detected.
Internet Explorer redirector , can not connect to Internet.
When I do connect to Internet, it starts to go to my home page, but then switches to bogus sites. I can not search for anything.
I have ran Malware. Is this some type of Hijack and if so, how can I solve.

1. Try running Housecall (on-line anti-virus/spyware scanner) http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
2. If you aren’t running any up to date anti-virus/anti-spyware software on your computer, install Microsoft Security Essentials (free) and let it scan your computer: http://bit.ly/btJ6Jy
