How do I mount and ISO image and make it use that image as my DVD drive instead of my read DVD drive?
by Occhiangelicci on June 5, 2010Q: I have mounted an ISO image, using Daemon Tools Lite. It is on DVD drive, (F:). When I run the program, the software tries to access my actual DVD drive, (D:). In doing so, it goes to the wrong location for the “disc”. Can I do something to direct the autorun to a different location/drive?

My only guess is to try swapping drive letters: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windowsvista/ht/chdrlettervista.htm
Or there should be a setting in the program’s settings/configuration that tell it what drive to look for. Check for an .ini file in the programs install folder or something like that (or google around).
