Is there a way to get a cable signal to my TV that is outside without running 50 feet of cable?
by Donna Montuoro on July 21, 2010Q: I have Comcast cable. Is there a wireless device available that will allow me to watch TV outside without running 50′ of cable wire?
Assuming you have the cable hooked up to your decoder somewhere in your house, yes there is. Google TV sender and you should find what you are looking for.

Based on reviews this is probably your best bet: 5.8GHz Wireless Audio Video Sender Transmitter & Receiver with Infrared Remote Extender
Read the reviews and details to make sure it will meet your needs before buying.
Like Dave mentions these won’t send the whole TV signal, so there will still need to be a cable box (decoder) back at the house.
Make sure whatever you do buy has a good return policy in the event the range you want to transmit is too far for the system.
