    Word documents do not have this feature.

    However if converted to PDF it can be made non-printable, though you’d need PDF editing software like http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/

    and there are still ways around this kind of lock down including screen captures and 3rd party tools.

    In short it is impossible to make something 100% unprintable, you can just make it a little more difficult.

    This is possible through something called Windows RMS (rights management server). Using this service you can set documents so that only certain users can view a document, Print a document, edit a document, etc… Through this service you can also set document expiration as well. The only downside to this is that there is a lot to setup as a server is required for this. If you are looking for a solution for one document, Mark’s solution makes a lot more sense.
