As far as performance goes, everyone’s definition of “high performance” is different so I can’t really give you a solid suggestion as I’m sure there are a lot of other variables going into your decision.
Check out the latest offerings from Apple, Dell, Asus, Toshiba and Lenovo and consider your budget and needs. If possible go to a few stores to see how much screen size and keyboard feel as well.
