Is it possible to increase the size of icons and text on my desktop using the mouse?

by on October 8, 2010

Q: What would cause the text and everything else to become larger when I did not go to the Control Panel to reset it. At the time I was on Facebook and I suppose I had my palm on the mouse too long. When I removed my hand off the mouse everything became larger. I was on my sister’s Acer laptop and could not reset it to make it smaller. What happened?

  1.

All major web browser programs have features to chance the size of text and images on the fly to help make things easier to read for users.

If you hold down the CTRL key (bottom left) on the keyboard and then roll the mouse scroll wheel it will shrink or grow the web page.

To restore the page to normal hold down the CTRL key and press 0 (zero)
