Can I connect my USB keyboard to any USB port on my computer?

Q: I bought a keyboard which has a USB connector. My computer has the old style connector but has USB ports. Can I connect the new keyboard to one of these ports or do I need an adapter? Does such an adapter even exist?

    Just plug it into any USB port on your computer and it will work just fine!
