How come I can only play CDs I burn in my CD burner?

Q: I have a problem with my CD player. It will burn CD and I can only play them in my laptop. I could burn cd and play them in any cd player. How do I go back to my original setting?

    Assuming that CDs from your laptop used to work with a specific cd player and new disks you make aren’t working:

    1. Try cleaning the Laser Lens with a laser lens cleaner disk… Do this for both your laptop and your cd players

    2. Try a different brand of CD-R Media.
