How come the spell checker in Office 2007 is not working?

Q: my office 2007 automatic spell checker has siezed to function. I tried the regedit formular but to no avail. the red ink that checks for the spellings has stopped functioning. Please help me solve this problem.

    hi Azomic, Have you tried the following Microsoft KB fix? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970826 This seems to list a couple of possible methods to fix your solution. Let me know if it does not help or you require further assistance.
