    PC100 and PC133 are the bus speed of the ram.

    PC133 RAM is slightly faster than PC100 RAM, this is slight enough that you’re really not going to notice a difference at all. You can mix and match PC100 and PC133 RAM in the same computer.

    Note that this is 10 year old computer tech, if you’re buying more RAM to speed up your computer, your money will be much better spent put toward a newer computer.

    thank you Mark, that’s very helpful info. Alas, I have no money so I’ll be checking for donated old computers at the local thrift shops. Maybe I can swap one of my 128MBs for a 512MB while no ones looking, hahahaha.

    Keep an eye on Craigslist as well, probably be a lot of people upgrading to new machines over the holidays and looking to get rid of old ones.
