Q: I have a gaming comp with Windows Vista home, a AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 6000+ 3.10 ghz, 500 gig HD, 4gig RAM and a 32 bit OS.

I bought a Zotac 512mb GDDR2 memory, Im needed to update it to a faster video card and was wondering what I should get, since i play a lot of newer PC games..also im wanting to put in more RAM, where can i find out what type I need?

If you want to run more than 4gigs of RAM, you’ll need to upgrade to 64bit Windows Vista or 64bit Windows 7.

A 32bit OS can only support up to 4gigs of memory.

Above 4Gigs of RAM you aren’t going to see much of an improvement in your games, very very few titles recommend more than 4 Gigs of RAM.

As far as your video card goes, it really depends on your budget. I’d suggest something out of the AMD Radeon 6000 series: http://bit.ly/jRKGUf
