How come I am unable to expand youtube videos to full screen?

Q: I am in the last few days unable to expand youtube video to full screen. I was able to before and now I cannot. I can get it so a slightly larger picture but not full screen, it goes white.

    First make sure you’re running the latest version of flash:
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

    If you’re still having trouble you need to disable hardware acceleration in Adobe flash. To do this:

    right click on a video
    Click Settings…
    Click on the first tab with a picture of a monitor on it
    Uncheck the box labeled Enable Hardware Acceleration.
    Click Close

    This should resolve your issue.

    Mark, That was the answer to my question, many thanks. so simple when you know what to do. I have no idea why or how that box got checked because I haven’t /wouldn’t even know how to get to it.. In any event I can now view full screen videos thanks to you.
