What are the pair of eyeglasses that disappear when I mouse over it?

Q: when i come to my computer there is an icon on the bottom of my screen that resembles a pair of eyeglasses. But when i move my mouse it disappears. What is it?

    What version of windows are you running and what are you doing when you see the eyeglasses (where do you see the eyeglasses)?
