Is it possible to make a system that uses MAME to play games for every game system out there?
by JACKEL on August 29, 2012Q: I want to build an arcade machine using MAME,is there anyway I can make it play games for pc,xbox, xbox 360,ps1,ps2,ps3,psp,gamecube,n64,and dreamcast. And if so what would be the best controller setup?classic arcade buttons and joysticks or a key board and mouse or a gaming pad.

Put simply, no, it isn’t possible.
MAME is only designed to emulate old arcade game hardware, not current or recent gaming consoles. Even then, emulator software isn’t very reliable.
If you want to play games from any of these listed systems, you’re going to want to play them on the actual consoles.
