Q: How do you fix a computer that died during a Microsoft Windows update?
This depends on “how it died”. Did it crash during the update due to a hardware failure, user powering the system off, or because of software corruption?
Do you get an error when you try to start the system up? What is the error that you get?
If possible you should try to start your computer in safe mode and do a system restore to a previous date.
