Is there anyway I can get the material needed to study for Microsoft Certifications?
by jst2bme on January 27, 2013Q: I recently went to a place called New Horizons. They teach people so they are able to get different Microsoft Certifications. I am wondering if there is a way I can get the material, study it and do the test on my own. If you could help with any information with that I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Yes. There are a number of training books available.
First, I suggest checking Microsoft’s website: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification-overview.aspx
You can learn about different certification options.
From there, hit up Amazon or your favorite local bookstore and checkout the various training books available.

Marks Suggestion is good although I believe that at New Horizons they would have given you the same info that Mark suggested.
I would recommend using study material such as Testking or Transcender exams. They simulate actual exams. I have in the past used testking and have been very pleased with the results. They also offer exams from a wide variety of vendors.
