Do they make an inexpensive camera that has a password protected memory card?

by on June 18, 2013

Q: Greetings.

I have to find a camera under $250 that will take pictures and save them to a memory card that I can password protect.
How do I password protect a memory card? Do you do it on the camera itself? Do you have to load the card onto your pc and password protect it, then load it into the camera, take pictures?
We have to hand it off to legal type people who will then need a password or pin to retrieve the information. We signed an NDA not to load the info on the card onto a phone, laptop, Ipad or computer. Just take pic with camera, hand over memory card, password or pin protected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What would be the best and most economical business equipment to get for a new small business?

by on November 14, 2012

Q: I am starting a small business working with mortgage companies. I need the following equipment. fax/scanner/printer, good digital camera, phone system and possibly a new laptop or desktop computer. I will receive work orders by fax, go to the property, complete the work order, take photos and then scan the photos and then fax the photos and work orders back to the mortgage company. I have wifi and would like to use it as much as possible. What would be the best office equipment to purchase that would interact with each other? I would like to go cost effective, but will spend the money for a better outcome.

How come a picture that I took years ago appeared on my digital camera after it got wet?

by on October 27, 2012

Q: I have a polaroid i737 it’s old. has no memory card so each time i download photos and vidio onto my pc I deleat them from camera. I got the camera Christmas of 06 and have used it a lot. Recently it got slightly wet and stoped working but after 2 or 3 weeks started working again. I took 2 photos of my dog today and wanted to take a photo of a plant but it said memory full. I always deleat everything but though maybe I had some how forgoten and went to download what was on it. There was only 1 photo to be downloaded and wen I looked it was a phoro of another dog I had taken a pic of New years of 07 . She is dead now and the plant i was going to photograph was going on her grave. The 2 photos of my new dog were not even on it and i know I took them and it showed them to me on the screen when i did. That was strange but it was actualy much stranger because of other things that happened I will not go into. My question is my camera has no memory card and i deleated it hundreads of times over the years how did it somehow save that photo just today and then just as suddenly deleat it without me deleating it. It did that as well. I did not deleat the photo and took photo s of the plant then when downlading again I seen the 07 pic was now gone again.

What is the best digital camera for under $500?

by on May 18, 2012

Q: I am looking for a new camera and I need help please.
I am trying to find that takes pictures at a fast speed without that couple of seconds to wait it is ready for the next shot, a super zoom, water and shock resistant on a budget of maybe 500.00 or less {or less is always better}.

I need a good quality but alot of web sites say for a good slr you should buy this super expensive camera or that, but I have found out that is not always true.
also where can you learn how to take better pictures and what all the settings mean or how to set them to what you need.

My father passed away last year and our connection was photograph and he was going to teach me as long as I promised to Follow My Dream of having a small business with photography.

He gave me his canon camera which but i need to upgrade to a faster speed with better light for night because i take alot of night pictures.

Thank You for any help you can give, it is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!

How come I have a problem playing videos on my computer from my camera?

by on November 5, 2011

Q: I have a problem playing videos on my computer from my camera. On my camera they play at normal speed but when I put my SD card in my computer the video skips (with the background music normal speed but still frames of pictures). Is this down to the computer/camera or SD card.
The camera I have is a canon powershot SX220 HS. The SD card I used is 4GBSDHC. And I have a netbook mini 210-2006sa. I have tried to play it in all VLC, quicktime, and other players but nothing. Can anyone help?

How come my digital camera uses up new batteries in a flash?

by on September 20, 2011

Q: I have a 3 year old camera that has not been used for more than a couple of hours in total. All of the batteries I tried with it drained within no time at all, even the expensive ones designed for digicams! I was told that it would probably need a certain part replacing but can’t remember what it was now :-/ any chance you could tell me what it is so I can try and see how much that would cost? Thanx

How come some pictures that were copied to a computer become unreadable after ejecting the memory card?

by on May 26, 2011

Q: My mother has been putting photos on our desktop computer from her digital camera for about two years. On all but two occasions it has worked fine. Two times all the pictures successfully were moved to the computer from the memory card but appeared like the one on http://awesomescreenshot.com/061dlgn3a

When she ejects and removed the memory card it is no longer readable by the camera and needs formatted.

Usually I can solve her computer problems, but this one has me puzzled.

Any and all help appreciated. Thanks
