Is there a way to setup a FreeNAS server with mirrored drives?

by on December 9, 2009

Q: I want to set up a FreeNAS server for data storage. I have small hard drive that is 40 GB and 2 other hard drives that are 320 GB each. I want my data to be on those 2 hard drives and I want to make them mirrored drives so if one fails the other one stay alive.

Do I do mirror after the installation from the GUI after the install and is there an option? If not what’s the best way to proceed?
