How come my Internet seems faster after adding another wireless adaptor to my computer?

Q: If a computer can’t use the connection from two wireless adapters at the same time then why does my internet seem faster. It is still not fast enough but connecting an additional adapter did improve my reception. Really what I want to know is if a computer can only use one adapter then which one is it using because they are both connected. I just want better internet and I’m sick of spending money to get it.


How come I cannot get on the Internet when using Atheros WiFi adapters and a Linksys router?

Q: I am having an issue with atheros AR5007 802.11b/g wifi adapters and Linksys E3000 but all I am getting is local area connection. I have connected to 2 xboxs. I am trying to connect to my Hp Pavilion Entertainment PC dv3-1125nr with vista I have called linksys and they did all they could I had to call hp but my warranty is up any suggestions? I was told by linksys it is a common problem with these two things.

Q: It’s a Broadcom 802.11n adapter but I can’t find any references to the settings I have.
